Elisa Quintana

Dr. Elisa Quintana is a scientist working in the field of astronomy and planetary science at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Her research focuses on the detection and characterization of exoplanets in addition to studying how they form. She is best known for the detection of Kepler 186f, the first Earth-sized planet found in the habitable zone of a star other than the Sun. Dr. Quintana has co-led SEEC since 2021.

Prabal Saxena

Prabal Saxena is a Research Space Scientist in the Planetary Geology, Geophysics and Geochemistry Laboratory at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Prabal's work related to exoplanets focuses on how to detect and understand the nature of exoplanets using several different observational methods. Prabal also carries out research related to solar system bodies, including the Moon, and is excited about how lessons we learn about those objects can help up understand exoplanets better (and vice versa).
